How do folks? Hope you are all well.

15 years have passed since I first signed up on the brew cabin. I see there's still a few names of old still posting away.

So having signed up as keen young lad who eventually got worn down during employment, then as someone who gave self employed a bloody good go, somewhat successfully then ultimately packing it all in and changing careers - I went driving wagons up and down the country. Then again changing careers last year, still up and down the country but back in amongst a site setting.

Just been doing a few hard landscaping jobs while we are in a wee quiet spell got me thinking I better check in on here and see what's fresh.

Hope you are all well during this peculiar time.

Stuart.

Always nice to see a few old hands back on here.
How are you enjoying things compared to the paving game?

After being away from it for so long it's nice to do a bit again, although I have noticed I've got less hair, more belly and nowhere near as fit as I was!

The new career is in lightning protection and earthing systems, so finding some of the practical skills are easily transferrable when on the tools. The desk side of it is a bit more of a challenge!
