Rust on a tarmac driveway

Setts and cobbles, tarmac, asphalt, resin systems, concrete whether it's plain, patterned or stencilled, gravels, etc.

Hi,
I am wondering g if anyone has come across a way of removing rust staining from tarmac? My old land rover needed repairing and I didn't realise that the metal particles from grinding would rush into the drive.
Thanks in advance.

A good quality rust remover, such as RCI.

Test a small, discreet area first as some rust removers can 'bleach' some bitmacs/SMAs

I've seen this before but haven't had any dealings with putting it right; do not be tempted to heavily power-wash the surface however tempting it may be!

Medium pressure washing with a wide nozzle (NOT a pencil jet) may remove it. Again, I'd try a small out of the way area first.

Another thought; painting the surface with an asphalt paint might be a better option if removal isn't an option.
