Mini dumper

I'm thinking that a wheel barrow of 90 litres holds about 60kg in dirt or more of concrete etc to a max of 120kg
I'm seeing a mini dumper as a practical buy to move things along quickly. If I dumper takes 250 -300kg then factoring in the loading time with a digger you're still getting double output per man whilst stressing the worker a lot less.
Anyone use them and if so what do they use?
Very serious about getting one for a large patio driveway job I'm starting in mid August. It'll eat half my income for that job so I'm thinking carefully about it.
Liking the look of these and I've had no probs with Briggs engines in the past https://www.machinemart.co.uk/p....1nw_wcB
Obviously looking at the more expensive Belle too which is 130 litre as opposed to roughly 160 for the Handy one and more expensive but with Honda engine.

Go for one that loads a skip, I.e. the skip bucket lifts up and tips.
the belle one is ok, but holds too little and you have to carry round a purpose built ramp all the time

The belle one would roll backwards unless you had a level section, the other would not tip enough angle as you are already tipped backwards.

I've never heard of the motor on that one; beware if you need repairs etc on it as you won't be able to get them. The same is very true for cheap Chinese gensets etcForestboy1978 wrote:Or this one for 1/2 ton http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm....3160890
Stick to Briggs and Stratton or Honda motors.

I used to hire the Messersi but decided to buy the HT 500 high lift tracked dumper as the bucket is lower to the ground and is rectangular in shape rather than an irregular shape
I also bought the Truxta which is an articulate 4 x 4 wheeled dumper but not high lift, it also comes with a flat back attachment which is ideal for moving flags paving or turf
we had a couple of jobs where it was up hill from the pavement and are both are ideal as you don't feel fatigued as the day goes on pushing a wheel barrow uphill all day

yeah it was I saw it there on a couple of stands Giles
the 450kg size was not launched when I bought mine last year but it won't fit down a 900mm side path to the rear garden so I am happy having the 300kg version, we still have it loaded with a bit more weight than what they say it can carry without the greedy board attachment
Truxta
