No problem Simon, that cleaning mix/solution does the trick nearly every time doesn't it? :;): the wood looks like it came up well too. Nice tidy job there mate

Just Rogers jollop Mark.
I've done a couple or sand stone clean ups this year and have thought I could do this full time if I could get enough of them.
Raking out and re pointing was a pain. Nearly the whole or the upper elevation needed doing but the lower part wasn't so bad but to make all the pointing the same we decided to re do the lot.
We went through 5 9" blades and it took a full day. It also took 12 tubs or weatherpoint over 60m2.
That hurt. The client covered it for us though thankfully.

I'll have to keep an eye out for them Mark. I don't think they would have been deep enough for this job though.
Although the flags were laid oñ a full bed the joints were around 50 to 60mm deep.
With all the flags being 3x2's and 20mm thick I had 6 or 7 tubs to do it so 12 put me right out.
With the client being so happy with the work carried out front and back he insisted on giving me the amount of money the job should have been.
It's always nice to have happy clients.

bit O/T but due to various factors the missus made me join a gym in may of this year
anyway I was not keen but found I liked rowing and did ok at it
so fast forward to saturday gone me and the daughter entered the british rowing indoor chamionship in london
I rowed in the race where matthew pinsent's 11 year old british record was smashed (mens 2000m open)
but the daughter won silver in her race the year 8 girls 500m
I am never going to be a clean living Olympian 42nd out of 45!
but I have lost nearly 2 stone in weight and 5 inches off the waistline
if the links work here I will put some recent work up
photie bucket is a PITA lately
cheers LLL
