Bitmac budget cost - Cost/sqm for wear course

Setts and cobbles, tarmac, asphalt, resin systems, concrete whether it's plain, patterned or stencilled, gravels, etc.

Hi folks - I have a 200sqM tarmac mixed parking and driveway. I am thinking of funding a new bitmac wear course. Roughly what ballpark cost/sqM can I expect? for the whole thing?

And also what cost sq/M would be if I decide to only repair the the 100 sqM that is visible from the road.

Thanks in advance - description below.

The sub-structure is basically sound - there are no ruts or depressions - heavy vehicles do not deform it.

The top surface is very rough and crumbly and some of the joints between the batches layed are now clearly visible with stripes of grass growing through them in a few places.

There is some surface moss etc - but I keep on top of this with moss-clear type sprays once/twice a year or so.

There are no gullies or surface drainage - the whole thing slopes to the roadway - with falls to suit- but it is porous so there is little run-off.

There are 5 old inspection covers that would need replacing - the pits however are sound.

Your better off just contacting local tarmacers to get prices

Its better to get someone to look at it as it maybe more involved than you think plus prices for tarmac vary a lot in different areas I know that the two nearest suppliers to me have a difference of around £70 a ton fair enough that one is on the outskirts of town and the other is a 50 mile round trip but depending on the amount needed at £70 a ton less makes it worthwhile

I'd say between £15-£20m2 depending on what prep is needed. (Leeds)

£70t difference is ridiculous, what supplier is that? the biggest difference here is about 4 or 5 quid for a basic mix of base/surface course.

are you talking difference with say 1 ton vs 20 ton load? thats the only time we see variance in prices they penalise you for small loads
