I was trying to get my shadow out of the picture but needed it there because of the screen glare lol.
Thanks Tony.
I took loads of samples of different types of stone round and the lady of the manor picked the slate out.
Personally I would have gone with granite but now it's down I couldn't think of anything that would suit the property more so well done to her.

The bricks was pulling his hair out.
Don't really know why because I set it all out, did the footings and held his hand whilst he was laying them.
He just couldn't get his head around working to a fall and the fact he had to follow the fall on the s bends made it worse for him.
I used the probst flexible marking kit to set it out and that helped immensely. Worth every penny.

recently we did an extension for Max a long term lurker and sometime poster on the BC
we had a lot of fun at Max's and it will stick in my mind as the summer of 2015 job
