Recent driveway and patio 300m and 80m completed just before Christmas.
Driveway is Brett Regatta with Argent edging and circle, bit of a pain as the Regatta is 60mm.
Patio is Marshalls Fairstone Slate.

Cheers guys.

Ilovesetts: The blocks are Brett Regatta, silver haze colour. I went there with the Marshalls brand did the samples etc. but nothing did it for them, so out come the alternative catalogues.
Must say it's quite a pleasing product and easy to work with.

LLL the arch was already there and a bit of a pain, couldn't even get my truck through it (you would probably struggle walking through it without smacking your bonce)
If it wasn't for the lane to the side and that we were replacing the fence with a wall we would have been shafted for the machine access. luckily the farmer was a friendly chap and allowed us to use the access track to his field.

He was also happy to take all our empty crates and pallets for his wood burner, gutted, not :D

Just finished another drive today. This one is in drivesett savannah.
It's the first time I've used them to do a drive. They look nice but I still prefer tegs.
I do appologise for not posting pictures up to the site directly. I honestly have tried.
I've updated facebook if anyone wants to take a look.
Thanks to Roger for his advice on cleaning up stone and blocks.

Tegs are more forgiving, savannahs must look pristine, clean lines, clean cuts, dead smooth screed.
A few of the cut blocks chipped on the edges when I used these, maybe the joint was to tight. Removing the damaged block without chipping the ones surrounding it is a right t**t.

Nice work SY, you really gotta get this posting thing sorted though:D

Cheers LC. I agree about the lines, screed and cuts.
I measured every thing out so that it worked a full block where possible.
I pulled a line on every 5th course.
I cut the blocks tight with a splitter then ran a grinder down the cut line once laid because I had a feeling that they might chip. None did.
The client loves it but I think it looks too smooth for set paving but that's purely down to taste.
I'll give posting pics another go. It is bloody hard work on this site though.
