Did you just mix up the slurry yourself mate and how soon did you start to wipe off after you spread the slurry

Looks Great

Bucket gauged on site 3 sharp, 1 cement with sbr added. I gave it 20 mins to settle in the joints before cleaning.

Slurried approx 15msq at a time and cleaned.

I had the belt cleaner booked and paid for from a place in Leigh ( Steintec gave me the number ) but the order got messed up and fella that dealt with it was off !! I didn't want to be waiting around when the weather was with me so cracked on with the washboy .

Was gonna cost £500 plus £1,000 deposit.
( Minimum hire 1 week )

It was hard work by hand but it got it clean and gave a good finish. If I did more sett work i'd definitely invest in a Pergo.

I love your work cookie. I honestly wish I could lay nothing but natural stone or clay for a living.

Out of interest and just in case I get asked to put some cobbles down in the future, what's the going rate per m2?

And cobblers make shoes Tony. I know what you mean though. It's just what we call sets round here. Same as if we are laying Bradstone Woburn or Brett alfa antique, we'd still call em tegs. Savanna are smooth tegs, argent are rough tegs and so on. :)

Finished, (apart from topping up a bit of kds when it's a bit drier) a nice Tegular driveway today. Still can't work out how to post pictures on here but have updated my Facebook with pictures. https://m.facebook.com/Sampaving?ref=bookmark

Nice work Sam, Tegs are my favourites to install. Like to see the lawn edge reinstatement, something very few contractors seem to do.

If I can make a suggestion for the future, where the driveway meets the footpath install some square top path edgings across the entrance. Gives a clean edge to start/finish to and prevents the driveway from pushing out into the pavement.

Seems the only way to post pictures is via photobucket. If you download the app you can take photies with photobucket and post straight here.
Cheers
