Terrace wet in dry weather

We had a new reconstituted stone terrace laid at the beginning of the summer and it has been perfect up to now. The past few days it looks as if it has rained on the stone, but the weather has been sunny and dry. Could this be just the moisture in the air at night, but if so, why is is not evaporating during the day?

Stone does have a tendency to hold moisture. Is the terrace in a shaded area for most of the day? Maybe you could post a picture of terrace.
