Draining into rodding access??

I have a paved area along the back on my house, 3 foot wide that collects water which lies against the house wall. The area is enclosed on the other 3 sides by higher ground. There is no drain in the slabbed area but there are 2 rodding points, one foul and one runoff. How can I achieve drainage of the area? It is not possible to pipe the water elsewhere so I would like to connect to the existing rodding points. Can I do this directly by replacing the solid rodding access cover with a grill (the water lies here anyway so it would seem simple to let it drain into here) or is there another way to connect to the system when there are no other drain access on this side of the house. Replace one (or both) of the rodding eyes with what's known as an Access Gully - this is a roddable gully, so you have the benefit of being able to drain a paved area while still being able to send down the rods or cctv if and when necessary.

You'll probably have to do a bit of fiddling about with the pipework connecting to the RE, but that usually needs just a couple of bends or flexi-bends, if suitable.
