Foul drain connected to land drain

Foul and surface water, private drains and public sewers, land drains and soakaways, filter drains and any other ways of getting rid of water.

Just moved into my new house and discovered the foul from the one of the toilets is connected to a land drain - NOT the septic tank as the seller assured me - can you believe that? Unbelievable!

Thankfully the existing foul is around 2.5m away from the dodgy drain so I can tie into that relatively easily. Unfortuanately, its under my tarred driveway.

Best not dwell on it and get thge problem fixed!
