Thanks all for your tips ive used this gun and the clip to release it breaks of and it has done the same on other metal guns.
I do cut a nice large hole in the nozzle most of the time, but i must confess i dont put it on the radiator
so chaps whats the gun i should buy that will not break....
thanks simon

Try Hilti they make a cauking gun that is solid, They never break and if by some freak of nature it does they will replace it. All of the fire stop lads use them and these boy go through about 100 plus tubes of mastic a day.
Be warned though their about £60 each. ???

not a fan of green grip fill anyway get a better adhesive, we had a box of 20 and a lot were hard and didnt stick to sh1t
we have those guns and the older fashioned metal ones never broke one despite being a heavy handed 19 stone prop hehe
ryobi do a battery powered one from screwfix/b&q
