TBH ,I must be a bit of a dinosaur, because I couldn't see much wrong with the comments, if she didn't understand the off side rule, she shouldn't have a flag - full stop!

Surely it's just a coincidence that Gray was sacked by Sky, owned by Murdoch, while at the same time, he is suing the Murdoch-owned News of the Screws for tapping his voice mail.

To even suggest that a fully accredited and highly rated asst ref doesn't understand the offside rule because of their gender is beyond stupid. To make lewd and suggestive comments while wearing a microphone just confirms the unsuitability of a person to work in broadcasting.

i understand the female lino has got a new nick name "just for men", she was used only once and now the gray is gone!!

personally i agree with the overall sexist sentiment, i don't want female refs, linos, or presenters, chairmen or players!!

women have invaded to many men only establishments, factories, building sites, pubs etc.

if I want to be in the company of a women I know where I can go, and if that fails I can always come home to the wife and two daughters.

i love women much rather be around them then smelly men hehe

you old boys are all dinosaurs us younger generation get it if you are good enough doesnt matter what you are, gone are the days of men are better etc

she was spot on with that call andy gray couldnt have made it, and the thing with his go presenter was awful he was showing her who was boss flexing his muscle as being there from the start. some messed up people were ringing into 5 live today to say that becuase that host had posed in her undies for lads mag it was ok for andy gray to treat her like that, same kind of twisted logic that says girsl ask to be raped if wear skimpy clothes has no place in todays world.

My mate down the emirates informs me that prem players watch MOTD because linekar and hansen know where its at
part of the reason i ditched sky sports was gray's inane commentary
I still feel unsettled at the way this has been conducted
and i see no issue at all with women doing any job if they can do it
worked with a woman brickie years ago and the subby tried to break her on 9 inch block work but failed
she was good looking too, just had to cut the banter back in the site canteen thats all

the truth of the matter is that 2no men in their 50s made a few sexeist comments about a female lines person off air as a bit of private banter.

The fact that mr grey made the joke about the young female presenter putting the mike in his underpants as a joke does not make the man, the devil incarnate.

this is the lass in question

NOT SUITABLE FOR WORK

not sure if i would like to see any female relative putting herself on show like this, and I would question sky's judgement in employing someone who obviously has little of her own
with pictures like these its no wonder women struggle to be taken seriously in a men dominated sporting world

having listened to both tapes was no way banter, the seriousness and almost disgust in their voices disgussing the assistant referee made that clear and like i say the "banter" about tucking hte mic into his waistband agin wasnt said to infer banter.

she'd do for me is she single haha

Giles your 25, you`d do anything mate lol.

Now does that comment make me out to be a rascist/sexist...?.

The reply above in my opinion is male banter and not offensive in any way, as any 2no girls any 1 man has slept with who know each other will discuss his "prowess".

:D

yeah but thats funny, and youd have said it in a funny way not in a deadpan serious tone, and im 29 next month lol

on a side note he must have been seriously disliked my his team, if he'd been a top bloke and his team liked him even if the devil that is murdoch ordered it they would have protected him, instead they couldn't wait to hoist him on his own petard.

but it was discussing her professional competency based on nothing more than her gender
