Looks like we have got the ashes firmly in our grasp. Its great to beat the Aussies because they really hate to lose in sport. Ponting made a right fool of himself as well.
HAPPY DAYS :p

Not the best example to use, you could have chosen a winner at something

I think you are winding me up here Rab but I will play along.
The Ashes is a Test cricket series played between England and Australia. It is international cricket's most celebrated rivalry and dates back to 1882. It is currently played biennially, alternately in the United Kingdom and Australia. Cricket being a summer sport, and the venues being in opposite hemispheres, the break between series alternates between 18 and 30 months. A series of "The Ashes" comprises five Test matches, two innings per match, under the regular rules for Test match cricket. If a series is drawn then the country already holding the Ashes retains them.
As well as the bragging rights and plaudits the winner recieves a small urn which is reputed to hold the ashes of a cricket bail.
Play resumes at about 11.00pm tonight where England need to take 4 wickets to win the test match by an innings and a couple of hundred runs. Otherwise known as a complete clobbering.

Flow I`m not biting as he`s only Scottish because he never won.
LSP, It wasn`t a wind up mate, actually Googled the Ashes after that post, along with what you said it`s also to do with a news paper article from the sporting news (pink paper)about the death of English cricket etc.
