A bit off topic, but i use a program called smartstamp from the royal mail (enables me to print my own stamps with a logo).
When i top up my account it asks for my debit card. No problem. It then tries to open to a verified by visa box, which is something barclays do as an extra fraud prevention.
It has been working for ages, but it now comes up with a blank box. I have tried contacting both royal mail and barclays who each say there is no problem.
I tried to log on on the missus comp, and it worked on there fine. Just my computer.
The missus used tesco online all the time, using my card to pay for shopping, and the verified by visa works ok.
Is there a setting i need to change?
I am running xp.

no answer so i will post here
verified by visa along with a multitude of other security stuff only works best with microsoft windows explorer
if you are using firefox, opera or safari it will work sometimes then not others
start==> programmes==> internet explorer
do your stuff then go back to whatever you have been using
cheers LLL :)

Boll&cks sorry Tony ;) x

Internet explorer is the spot bedded bricks for subbase equivalent it's has more flaws than any other browser.

I use safari on mac and have no problem with it, it's run by visa btw. Hence verified by visa. Visa run sun gear who I worked for.

It will be a cookie or something like that, go onto setting advanced etc and there will be a clear cookies option either clear all which willean losing saved login info like this site etc or find the offending collies and delete they will be obvious either visa etc.

Google chrome I's a good browser and what I use when I have to on a pc.

finally tech help guys said "are you using firefox?"
switched to IE and it worked straight way
then switched back

the only thing i can compare it to,is mixing 2 different CBP and the nibs clash

half the problems in computer world are cuased by the awful c and c++ code that microshaft put out there in windows and things like ie and messenger, coming from an enterprise IT background if they spent more time on the code half these worms and bugs that affect pc would never happen.

i run mac :) no need for anti virus or mal ware programs etc no bloated registry that slowly kills your computer, no defraging due to poor allocation table cleaning by the os, noticed the new windows seven is just a rip off of OS X from mac,
