new technique used by ( evil bastards ) unsavoury criminals...they leave covered baby seat by side of wooded area, so you think it's abandoned baby. Women who stop get, raped, robbed and beaten. Men get left for dead, or dead. they also throw eggs at windscreen, when you try wash it, off it turns to milky film, so you have to pull over, then.... As above. So don't stop, just drive on and report it to old bill. Safe driving.

where did this happen?. in south africa the police tell you if you hit someone in a car keep going and report it latter due to driver safty. ???

not a legend, not a hoax. These things go on lads. My friends got the puncture treatment by a gang, when they pulled over they were robbed. The egg trick works just as well, believe me. Anything these people can do to get you to pull over, they will do. Just imagine your wife, girlfriend etc late at night and that happens, they would'nt know and would pull over. Just ask them to be aware. I am constantly telling my lot. Ignore advice, it's up to you .

my mate drives bonded wagons. mainly cigarettes around and has a card that says follow me to the nearest police station, and has it on the back of the wagon, plus wagon is sealed and alarmed.
says happens a lot fake cop cars pulling over the valuable goods.
anyone threw an egg at my windscreen they'd be running from 2 ton of angry navara chasing them, plus keep a 4d maglite in my drivers door

the wife came home from work a couple of years ago and said an email had been sent to all the managers nationwide alerting all the staff to be on guard for this
If you are driving after dark and see an on-coming car with no headlights on, DO NOT FLASH YOUR LIGHTS AT THEM! This is a common Bloods gang member "initiation game" that goes like this:
The new gang member under initiation drives along with no headlights, and the first car to flash their headlights at him is now his "target". He is now required to turn around and chase that car, then shoot and kill every individual in the vehicle in order to complete his initiation requirements
I said to her its an urban myth and even found this link and showed her
don't flash your lights
but she was adamant it was true, anyway a couple of days later the managers had egg on their face and had to admit they had all been taken in with the hoax along with over 5,000 employee's too

like all urban myths they normally prey on people's worst fears and they also tend to have some kind of letter from an authoritave sounding organisation
I.E.west sussex police, or kansas city memorial hospital etc etc
when i was a youth there was a story about a lad and a girl and the car broke down
anyway the lad went off for help but all night the girl heard thumps
in the morning the police arrived and found a maniac hitting the roof of the car with the lads severed head 
scared us witless at the time
