i would blind him, that way every time someone smacks him in the face he wouldn't see it coming.

I always struggle with these stories as my 86 year old nan has had to move out of her house due to the attentions of fake water board/gas board/lost our ball in the garden scubags

we have had to retrospectively quote jobs for trading standards in luton,to hep them build a case
1 old boy was charged £7,000 for a handful of loose tiles and a running outlet
until these people start getting lumps of prison then its a fairly risk free crime for them

I did a report for a certain police force about three years ago where an 'educationally-challenged' young woman was charged 25 grand for roughly 1500 quids worth of blacktop at her home.

Bad as it was, it was made even more galling because the rip-off merchant was a well-known local contractor who, apparently, just couldn't resist temptation. We've enough villains and rogues in this industry without previously good tradesmen turning to fraud. :angry:
