Having dinner on a job yesterday when a hearse pulls up with the box in the back, so i rolled the van back a few yards not wanting to be part of the proceedings.

Couple of minutes later the undertakers knocking on the window `couldnt give us a hand mate could you`, turns out they are delivering for a wake, the lifts broken and they cant get the coffin upstairs.

Two drainmen and two undertakers trying to get the bloody thing upstairs and around a landing, i half expected Jeremy Beadle to pop up from under the lid :laugh:

ha ha, classic. Hope they straightened the corpse up after.

I wanted to be an undertaker when i left school but my parents said its a dying trade and were dead against it

I think they made a grave mistake :D

its a cracking trade,people are dying to get into graveyards
