Ah you know IP, Mrs John loves it down here, says she's seen enough rain in her life.
People buy what they see and so many of our jobs are tegula, we'r use to cutting and laying em and people are always pleased with the result. We seal all our jobs and include a 12 mth wash and tart up in the price then after that it's an option, most take it up.
There's plenty of know alls in this game but jeez you lot on here take the biscuit, me, always interested to learn more, out here they use a lot of the exposed agg concrete, looks bloody good and I think I could sell.
if you go to that show I'll not be buying from you? Irish, If I was them I'd tell you to get lost.
My point is I know the fella your'r all having a go at, how many of you know this plastic paddy with all the mouth on here?
It's normally the truth is in the middle of the two and it's may be true here as well, just my bloke isn't trying to put your bloke out of business by blackening his name and trying to strong arm suppliers.
TBH lads, I think you might have lost the plot. Any ways up, say hello to Joanna for me at Chelsea, I'll be having me bevvies with the lads in Coventry, thanks MickG, wally of the last week, little site competition we have, will be getting the van keys for the return drive.

John,
In this forum we generally try not to insult others as this only lowers the tone. Why not just admit your real identity and have your voice heard in a constructive manner instead of just insulting people?. ???

If insults and bad degrading comments continue I will delete the posting,
There is a large group of working men putting alot of time and effort into this forum,to help others all for no charge,we dont need people starting to upset the smooth flow

John,
Correct me if I`m wrong but you stated that you have an extensive knowledge of all things paving and as such why not get involved as a constructive member of this forum rather than being 3rd party to a contractual dispute between others?.
Looking forward to your first constructive helpful post to the general public.

Awwww bless john have I hit a raw nerve!! ...I seem to have offended you and your friend and for that I will be the bigger man and apologise....
But I am entitled to my opinion and that will never change and how I wish to act on that is my business ....
I am not a malicious person and I do not have to resort to insults as you do ....a comment like that shows you don't know me at all ....but hey john, Listen I forgive you!!
But let me just say this the way you stand by your friend and take his word as Gospel ....my loyalty lies with Tony McC and always will.
THE END

IP, bless yr heart, written like a true gent, I admire your loyalty to yer man but I think I'd be daft if I said I wouldn't buy from Marshalls because they won't be at the show, the other side of the coin from where you are.
Well fellas, off home today, back on the tools Tuesday weather permitting, tell you what Mr Sarti, for someone who dont exist I've laid a few of your products in me time!
Take yr point MSH, but be even handed mate - yer man can seemingly call people rogues and blackguards, say he he has been scammed, conned that's like as good as calling the show guys thieves but I didn't notice you asking him to calm down.
Any old how, here's hoping for a better 2010 in the paving trade.

As an observer from the sidelines, i can't help but wonder if that was an intended double negative :;): ???

its not like you to sit on the fence mate.
at the end of the day john the paver is only defending his mates as we are doing with the boss.
i`ve said before the boss is not a liar and i`ll never believe he deleted any posts to do with this subject or any other for that matter as the evidence is their for all too read. everyone one is entitled to an opinion and free to air it here, as such personally feel its best all round for us to keep out of a contractual disputes between others john.

I totally stand by what i said in support of Tony McC. I do think however i was rather childish in mentioning suppliers to boycott or i would refuse to use there supplys. It is normally the fence sitters that keep there opinions to them selves and end up the very ones that go and are the first ones to criticise after a show.
As to wishing everyone good luck was due to the fact that i won't be posting here anymore and wanted to wish everyone the very best. I was also hoping that the forum could go back to been a place of serenity and come away from the hostile postings which i feel a little responsible for but as in real life there's always someone stirring the stew.
As mentioned before i wish everyone a successful 2010
