Tommorrow is our last day - it should have been a half day at the yard, wash off the trucks etc and finish a bit of racking etc but now a job has come up - only a small overlay job for a local housebuilder, so shouldn't be too bad a day.
Not back until 6th Jan!

driving to work on Saturday morning and the police had set up a base for stopping people hoping they was over the limit from the night before seeing as it was in theory the last day for people working, I don't know if the target was people wearing high viz jackets but i was pulled over and a guy in a pickup so maybe it was aimed at the construction industry
anyway the nice polite b*****d did not give me chance to say I had not had a drink whilst proceeding to set up his breath test machine, it was only after I had not failed he asked me had I had a drink the night before and did not seem happy that i showed a ZERO
as I drove off I gave him a festive wave and mumbled under my breath happy christmas you sad mother f****r get a life
