Finishing on 22nd/23rd Dec for two weeks, spending it at home with family & friends. Can't bloody wait, I love this time of year with the little 'uns.
Daughter (9) has just been chosen to be Mary in the school play so I'm well happy with that.
Got a bit of beer to be getting through courtesy of Mr Tesco and his amazing deals. Probably a few minor jobs around the house and weather permitting a few car jobs too, every little helps as they say

Personally I plan to bury my head in the sand like an ostrich and pretend it's not happening. Then on the afternoon of the 24th I'll give in and buy a heap of Cr#p. Will spend the next 2 days trying to smile at my wifes family trying to pretend they're Hyacinth Bucket off the tele whilst their other halves try to avail of my rare whisky collection without bringing even a token of their own. Then on the 27th I'm going home to the Isle of Skye where I'll start my new year early with all my old mates and various musical instruments might even get some climbing and skiing done too. Back to work on the 4th.
