just looked at your link cookie, found myself singing along. thought you might of had a picture of the gaffers ford gt parked up alongside the bobcat. you do some stunning work mate.

yes got your reply was laughting to my self in 1987 was paying my lads grand a week mind you we did alot of m2 and drunk hard if iwent up there now paying digs and stuff would not be viable spoke to a old firm we worked for he will drag us up there when the olymplic games work goes crasey to many firms buying work have had a lot of intrest from youtube video.where people can see how it should be done and not like the cowboys out there.am travling 150 miles.round trip to build a wall and some ground work and very happy to do it take care out there boys :p

sheesh that was serious money then cookie!
brickies were on £55a day then in the gang i was on and we were over the moon to get it.
I said to Dennis halfpenny a bricklayer "why do you not do more than 3 shifts a week Dennis ?" to which he replied " because i cant get by on 2"
85p a pint in the social clubs in them days,we used to go the "not so very handsome cab" every day

Great video! I would love to do a time sequenced photo thingy of a tarmac driveway being laid, watching us all moving about etc!!! Think it would be quite amusing to watch!
Might even get to do it one day

well worth it dave the punters can see how you do it properly and to standard the gaffer does a good job with his proper video camera mine was done with my normal one have had very good feedback it also sorts out the boys from the chaff would be a good idea to start with base prep and try and keep short 5mins give it a go its free advertising you cant lose

Yeah I'll look into doing something.
Time lapse photography is what I want to do, like the camera takes a pic every 20-30 secs when we're working, like.
Think I need to do a bit of research on how to do it.
