In a strange case of inverse serendipity, 130 year old Contract Journal leads with an interesting story for the first time in ages in the very week that its publisher announces the mag will be closed down by the end of this month.

Apparently, one particular flavour of foam concrete has been banned by a couple of utility contractors because the damned stuff has the unfortunate side-effect of exploding! It's so weird, you just couldn't make it up!

I've read CJ for almost as long as I can remember. While my contemporaries were cutting their teeth on Janet and John, I was scanning the "Contract Leads" section, so it will be a sad loss. It never had much news, but it was a good way of keeping in touch with what the Big Boys were up to.

Would be very plausible with the air/heat generation ratio. Heating the trapped air as it cures.
Try CN - Construction News, its been on a crash diet since last year  but still has some of the best leads and contract news around.
