Just noticed this on tonight - presented by that bloke Nigel Gray, the builder who demolished the conservatory over non-payment.

Have to say that the cowboy customers programme sounds good.
would be nice to have database of bad customers we could all use, like the customers have one of bad builders

got the sky switched off in may,to be honest its liberating not having 40 million channels,
little miss lagerlout is none to pleased with only having 2 kids channels now instead of her 48 cartoon channels, she has to read books now instead
i miss "the first 48" quality cop show, and "the deadliest catch"
and the boxing, but most of that was PPV anyway

I also gave sky the elbow when it went over £40 a month - don't miss it - with the card we still have freesat, works great until sudden downpour, then immediately scrambles.
Freeview is great inthe winter - in the summer, with leaves on the trees, shite, we have to get our sig from crystal palace - (as crow flies 31 miles) -
Evidently our local transmitter, is going to be one of the last to go dig - 2012 - bloody marvellous.
Am seriously thinking about putting a 30m run of CT125 cable, across the yard and up side of crendon barn - will the huge increase in height be cancelled out by the long cable run? - no idea - answers on on a postcard to... ???

I'm pretty sure that the correct Cable is CT100 and 30m cable run should'nt result in the loss of signal.Make dure it is copper sheathed and not shitty foil sheathed.I installed sky for a couple of years back in the early 2002-3. It was a self employed position, money was very good as Sky had 5 million or so customers to go digital. It was a change from the monotony of the building trade.Of course when Sky had there customers over to digital the money went downhill.

Cheers Meany for encouraging reply - CT125 is the newish upgrade from the 100 - and not too much more expensive -
Every week I get pamphlet thru the post ( and occasional phone calls) from Sky desperate to get me back - offering silly introductory deals for first 3months , and a "tailor-made package" - we seem to be watching less telly in this house - espec with the hd recorder.
Will let you know what happens.... if anything.

bout time someone saw the light..more rogue customers than trades i reckon. As he is quite local to me we got good coverage of his action.. and the woman got a three grand bill to reinstate the property after...serves her right. Been away for a while, and glad to see that the site is still flourishing, and the usual culprits are still bantering. Currently recovering from dislocated shoulder...tripped and fell down a narrow stairwell just before going to nieces wedding... looked like i'd just gone the distance with tyson.. still the greatest painkillr known to mankind..yes i do mean guiness worked wonders and i still managed to prove to the young uns that the round man can still shake a mean hoof...lol:D
