Can it be laid on 30mm base course say 60mm thick or is it best laid on say a 10mm wearing course 30mm thick?

If you mean resin bound then it is normally laid 15mm thick as it gets too expensive to lay it any deeper.

If you mean resin bond then that is just a scatter coat of stone that is stuck down like tar and chippings.

As long as the base course is sound and capable of supporting the intended traffic, resin BOUND can be laid over any size of agg.

Resin BONDED may need a scratch coat when laid over open-textured bases, just to even out all the voids as these have a nasty habit of being reflected through the resin bond coating after a few weeks.

Tony answered my question, as I was worried about the open texture of the base course.

I talking about bond hence the title

We've done 15mm resin on 20mm binder with no problems.
