Proven my arse you sasenachs can't stand the stuff. Just some researcher/ journalist who obviously has a fetish for a good kicking. The first recipe written on paper may have been found in England but that coincides with one of our invasions of your green and pleasant land. Also only ten people in Scotland can read and write so what the point in a recipe book. Nuff said now where's my special brew.

Mashed neeps with a bit of salty butter and some pepper can't say there's any other staple veg that comes close. As for Jamesons you gotta be kidding me only someone with a potato mouth could drink that it's so weak and sweet. Talisker and Speysides all the way Bailie Nichol jarvie and Black Bottle aren't too shabby either. Seriously I should stop taking the bait now. :laugh:

an lets face it. haggis is ours was it not the english who used to beleive the haggis were hunted on the glens of scotland :p
