Does any one know what area of the country the coins were circulated in? Or the date they entered circulation? Iâ€™ve googled it, but canâ€™t seem to find any info on that

Iwas reading about that last week in the free business london paper CITY AM. It stated that " tens of thousands have been minted and released mistakenly". A guy was thought to be buying them at Â£50 each. Think its a wind up myself, but kept an open mind, also kept it to myself ( as any shrewd business man would ) just incase :;):
