Quoted for a job 2 weeks ago, and as i was doing a job just up the road later that week i said watch how we work and see what results you can expect to achive.

Did the other job and the customer i did the quote for came around a few times and was asking questions and was really interested.

I was in the area on Monday and their drive still needed doing, but as i drove past on Tuesday, one of my competitors was there swilling the road down. No problem with that, we all have other competition in our area....

But..... He had cleaned, re-sanded and sealed it all in one day!!! Oh dear!!! We all know that isnt going to last dont we!!!

I know the chap who did the job, and to be honest, i have followed him a few times on jobs as the customer is so unhappy with the quality of work done. This looks like another one that i will have to sort out.

I didnt see Matt Alwright there, but i am sure if he was he could have made a whole program on this chap!!!

That's what so good about the main website and this forum, it gives the householder (that's me!) an idea of what is required to do the job properly.
Perhaps in this case the householder is selling and just wants a quick fix.
If not I wonder if he'll be having the job done again, let's hope he doesn't make the same mistake again and use the same person!

Yup, I have just lost a job like that as well.
The job was done by a ejid with a Karcher pressure washer.
