In an idle moment, was thinking about the other forums I use, from time to time, that have sorted out specific problems.
Here's mine -
http://www.filesaveas.co.uk/cgi-bin/forum/YaBB.pl?board=homehub
This Jarviser bloke is great - setting up a second homehub as a repeater was a doddle, following his instructions.
http://www.avforums.com/forums/index.php
Wealth of info - have helped me loads on freeview / dvd hard disk recording - look out for Gavtech - genius bloke.
http://www.mytractorforum.com/index.php
Hilarious American tractor / mower forum - full of good old boy rednecks talking about their ride-ons - but, underneath, a lot of info, huge amount of sub-topics - have had some great advice on tractor probs. (The difference in terminology can be totally baffling! )
Lastly -
http://forums.dv247.com/
Vibrant forum - full of up to date, independent, info if you're involved in recording music.

They're pretty much the one's I'll log into every day for a quick look.
Paving Expert, of course, is rusted into my browser - always first port of call. A bit like my radio's rusted into radio4 !!!

PS - how was Chamonix Giles ??

Bugger - just spoke to my mate in Serre Che - he's charging 6 euros a pint - the kids can't afford it - buying a crate at the supermarche and back to the chalet....
