ye looked in all the mags but there isnt any belle pokers, i bought a wacker off ebay, cheap enough but the guy said hed bought it brand new to do his own driveway and now he was selling it on because he no longer had any use for it,but it leaves the question - why would there be serial numbers ground on to it, if it was for himself?

we bought a trailer out of autotrader once and turned out to be a traveller, then for the next few months get calls like you want a brand new 1 ton dumper and trailer for 1k cash no questions, chippers, rollers, compressors after about 6 no thanks he stopped calling. we weld our name on all the stuff we can be still gets knicked. we lost a 3 ton hammer last year and 3 ton machine was on a wagon when they legged it and left the wagon and machine in the road one night. new kubota has immobilizer key though so here hoping.

you mean the serial numbers were ground off it, or someone ground there own on it.

I trade alot on ebay buying and selling tools and plant, if you look at the pics and read discription you can see if a item is genuine or not, there are lots of buisness sellars there and email the sellar with questions if they wont tell you what you need to know stay clear but otherwise look for a bargin,i have 2000+feedback i have had some very good deals this last 12 months bought a wacker poker 110v complete for £220 briliant item :)MSH

Giles, Somone had ground there own on it, as if it had belonged to a big company, theres no reason for a DIYer to be putting serial numbers on there equipment!
