for those that get up early you can feel winter sucking in or is it just me, seems to be staying darker later and later. soon it will be dark when we leave the house and dark when we get back. :( just thought i'd cheer everyone up haha.

on a lighter note my 3 month old son has completed his health and safety training hehe

Yep, well I'm definitely going to work in the dark these days. Sad times.

i suppose going to work in the dark etc is better than the alternative.
i.e. not going at all
things are going very badly wrong with the building game round here,i expect a lot of ppl will lose their houses in the next year or two
:(

i think i diversified just at the right moment in more the equestrian side than just the general building side as fingers crossed i'm booked up into the new year.

plus

my sister runs a company developing these £2m+ footballers homes and she can't build them quick enough. i'm booked in to start breaking ground on the 3m deep basements in december. nice and warm and dry in december but i'd rather by outdoors anyday. the only downside is that it will be a 1 and half hour commute each way everyday. the joys of the 12 hr day.

the job i'm on at mo the builders have taken back a load of work off us as their next job has pulled out, so the garden and the drive the are doing hiring my machines, using my contacts for materials and generally doing a poor job. when they go home we have a tidy up and level through for them.

Its a small bonus that those of us that work outdoors actually get some natural light during the dark months. I could never work indoors, starting in the dark, ending in the dark
