Maverick UK social network Faceparty has today told its millions of users it "can't be arsed" with their attitudes, and so has "shut the whole site down and fxxked off to the zoo".

According to an outstanding rant posted to faceparty.com today and titled "To tha Haterz", the site's users have been complaining over an unfulfilled promise to provide "free cool tools" to everyone who uploaded a picture of themselves in fancy dress.

Faceparty's operators dispute users' claims that they have failed to deliver the "free cool tools" on time. In today's missive they promise to delete the account of "every single txxt who moaned about their friggin' free cool tools". Users are warned that if they moan again the administrators will shut Faceparty down and get a job instead.

One particular "nob", we're told, is suing Faceparty because he didn't get his "free cool tools".
lmao :D :D

I've never understood these 'social networking' sites. Maybe I'm getting old, but I just don't see the attraction of misspelling everyone's name, and getting friends-you-didn't-know-you-had to litter the place with thumbnail piccies of their grinning fizzogs.

How is all that rigmarole better than (in order of preference) meeting someone for a pint, sharing a quick bacon butty in a greasy spoon, calling on the phone, or if the computer has to be involved, simply sending an email?

Sometimes, I'm just glad I'm past it all!
