Hi ,
We drained the concrete pool in our garden. it's about 36 cubic metres. I've broken up the bottom (but not the sides) with a drill. The aim is to fill it and then pave over it.
Two questions:
The deep end is always wet and I assume I've hit the water table. After the recent wet weather the pool has half filled up again and hasn't yet drained away- should this worry me? If so, what should I do? (I know, that's 2 questions already). Maybe drill the sides as well?
Now, what should we fill it with? We've been told that 'Dirty Soil' would be ok. (that's a hard centre with dirt around?) Though 3 times the price (£690+vat for 60 tonns) we wondered if crushed concrete would be better?
Thanks for the help,
Matt
