Expansion joints?

Setts and cobbles, tarmac, asphalt, resin systems, concrete whether it's plain, patterned or stencilled, gravels, etc.

thanks for the invite..my first post...i`ve got a drive/pathway 4.5 metres x 27 metres long @ 100mm thick.in conc. how much between expansion joints, 30 x thickness = ever 3 metres...can i put less in ie every 6 metres ? Also i`ve recommened rebar, but our client whants to keep cost down..its only for foot traffic..+ his van at times. I`m a time served bricklayer..44 years old, but thanks for any advice from you guys that know.... cheers

30 TIMES THE THICKNESS IS A RULE OF THUMB
soz caps
so if its 100mm thick then every 3 m
150 thick every 4.5m
etc etc
