Bricklayer = Brickie
Plasterer = Spread
Electrician = Sparkie
Carpenter = Chippy
But what are plumbers, painters and decorators, roofers, tilers etc called?

bricklayer = trowel
plasterer = spread
electrician = sparks
carpenters= prima donna miserable moaning chippies(i hate 'em)
plumbers = we normally add *leak* to their name i.e. pete the leak
decorators= name + paint i.e. daz the paint
and the roofers we dont call anything cos they are ex paras

mechanics are grease monkeys or spanner wankers
there are more

Hi all.
Not heard the 1 about scaffs being called iron monkeys b4.Been in the game 23 yrs and its a new 1 on me.Still,you learn something new everyday.
