Thank you in anticipation for the " sympathetic" replies I'm not about to receive off of ye all. :) glued and screwed it back on. but sorry to say they done everything they could but they couldn't save my pencil. :p

Ouch! Sympathies ...

My main bit of pain today was smacking my head into a bit of 'climbing frame' at the village playing fields. We were digging the whole area out and someone had put some drinks out on a bench near the climbing frame - I had my head down (and wearing a peaked cap) when I went to get a bit of refreshement - completely failed to see the lump of scffold stretched 6ft off the ground above my field of vision. Felt it though (or at least I did once I'd picked meself off the ground)

I dug out four gate post holes (for 8"x8" x 8' posts) this morning for a pair of driveway entrances, put the first post in and got it straight, stepped back to look at it and fell down the paired hole. Ripped the skin of my calf and bled like a stuck pig... much to the amusement of my client, I might add

I was trying to loosen a wooden clothes pole to take it out, that`s until it snapped at ground level , hit me on the forehead and knocked me out .:p

you wouldn't believe it, ill tell you anyway... after being away and having showers all week in my caravan, i like to lay in the bath and relax at home. when i soaped up and scrubbed my face vigorously, my little finger went up my nose and f**k did i bleed. i shouted for the wife, who gave me so much sympathy... no she didn't she cracked up whilst forcing cotton wool up me conk
