At least we got to the final...and weren't completely humiliated by the Rossi, unlike some teams from the north west of England!

Strange thing is that the disapointment of losing the semi was met with the relief of not having to play the Dirties in the final.
I had to laugh on thursday the scallies on the radio phone in were calling for the head of your head honcho because you finished 21 points behind the mighty reds, and yet the day before he was 90mins away from being a god.
Look on the bright side though you could be a Luton Town fan :p

Then the Mersey's about to flood again -- my son's class (8-year-olds) studied England this year for the school Multicultural Studies unit. The display they put up in the corridor said that Football(soccer) and cricket are the national sports.
The only issues? They used a croquet mallet to illustrate cricket (hey, it's got mostly the same letters and sounds sorta the same)....but the football would have made all of you howl in protest: National teams: Manchester United and Arsen. (no -al, just Arsen)
I reckon there's a league full of folks who would correct the dim-bulb teacher who allowed it -- and there was a lorryload of UK-born parents who mentioned the errors!
How in the world do people manage to be so ignorant...especially when we have the interweb....!
My contribution? Poncey tea and biscuits and a cottage pie for them to taste....and Stonehenge, sculpted out of Rice Krispie Treats....(oooher.)

Good to know that Blue Peter badge has followed you across the water.
The irony is that both Man Utd (Champions 07 ) and the Mickey Mousers are now American owned.
When i go to O.T to watch a match i can`t buy a pie in my section of the ground (replaced with hot dogs) to go with my Budweiser (£5.70 a pint)
Just had my renewal form through its gone up £90.00 so for the first time since 1978 i will not be renewing my season ticket, i will lone it out and hope that my numbers come up or the prices come down
