From this side, too, Tony...I've no words to tell you how sorry I am.

Please let us know how we can help, or to where we could send flowers/donations -- I think I can speak for all.

Strength and comfort to you and yours.

Tony, what sad sad news. I've got tears in my eyes and can't even start to imagine how you must be feeling. I admire you for making such a public announcement when I guess typing the words and uploading the picture must have been so painful.

Our Mum and Dad are our role models, and we always assume they will be there.

When you were told that you have such a short amount of time to say goodbye to your dear Dad, well, I can't even guess at the emotions you must have gone through.

I've been lucky to meet you and your wife and to learn a little about your family. My heart goes out to you and your family and friends at this difficult time.

If you can, please take comfort from the many - hundreds? thousands? - who know you and care for you Tony. I'm sure your Dad is watching over you and caring for you from somewhere where you can feel him but can't touch him.

I wish you and your family a long and peaceful life, free from pain and trouble, and may you and we all only know peace, happiness and love.

deepest sympathy
this poem always brings a tear to my eye but also a sense of life, hope it helps you tony

Do not stand at my grave and weep
I am not there; I do not sleep.
I am a thousand winds that blow,
I am the diamond glints on snow,
I am the sun on ripened grain,
I am the gentle autumn rain.
When you awaken in the morning's hush
I am the swift uplifting rush
Of quiet birds in circled flight.
I am the soft stars that shine at night.
Do not stand at my grave and cry,
I am not there; I did not die.
regards tony (LLL)

Our condolences too, at this time, words don't come easy or seem to help, but rest assured that many stand with you, and are prepared to support you as and when. 'Hamba Gashle', go softly, and be at peace.

Heart-felt condolences, Tony. I lost my own father to oesophageal cancer 6 years ago, and I understand how hard it must have hit you.

Best wishes

Mike
