Do you use these cements?

I use them regularly but most general builders I know never use them.

I think they are brilliant as I can pour a footing or foundation in the morning and build on it later in the day. I used them for fencing today and it made my life easier as it went off so quickly I could get a lot of fencing done.

Sometimes they are expensive. Lafarge's Extra Rapid Cement and Castle's QuickCem is pricey but Ferrocrete is cheap.

If you use them, what do you use them for? Are they unsuitable for some applications? Are there potential pitfalls involved in uusing these cements? Any tips? If you don't use them, why not?

So does no-one use them?

I can't find them in many small builders' merchants.
