There's a few of us out there, K-Tek, that share a passion for paving of all sorts. It's nowhere near as weird as, say, train-spotting or attending conventions dressed as a bloody Klingon! :D

Trouble is – with all my new found expertise from this site and from supervising my own drive. Every time I look at someone else’s drive/patio/whatever, all I notice is the un-mitred corners, uneven flags, over-wide gaps etc etc.

I used to have an acquaintance who inspected ex lease cars for a living. Show him your newly acquired pride and joy and all he could see were the dents and dings, the variations in the gaps, and the different paint colours. (For those who don't know - a ding is the opposite of a dent).
