I have just bought one of the above.

Looks a good machine... wet cut, can do mitres etc and much cheaper than I would pay for a Rubi.

I now have to (supervise) tiling of about 500m2 of floor tile (400m2 ceramic, 100m2 porcelain), 150m2 wall tile (mainly ceramic) and the odd piece of granite. I need to buy enough blades to get me through this job in advance of starting it.

I haven't done much tiling in England before and have never purchased diamong tiling discs before (in the UK).

Given my experience of the lifetime expectancy of Portuguese-made blades (available in Angola but a real hastle to buy and expensive), I reckon I need no less that 30 blades (although as my new machine is a wet cut machine (we always used angle grinders before), maybe I will hopefully need less).

In my local shop in England, however, they want GBP38 for each Dewalt tiling blade. This is quite a lot and no cheaper than Angola, although it is Dewalt so should be better than Portuguese garbage.

Anyone know a good general tiling blade that they recommend that can deal with ceramic and porcelain that is a lot cheaper than GBP38? And where to buy?

If the price is good I will buy 40 or so.

Cheers - those aren't cheap!

I use these for concrete. In Angola, Bosch blades are widely available but are US$100 at least. I can buy these (above) in Luanda for about $17 and they seem to last just as long. If you see one for a tenner, try one!

I imagine yours are top quality and better than Bosch ones.

But tiling blades all seem ridiculously expensive in Angola and the Dewalt ones here are too.
