Thanks to everyone that emailed and telephoned over the last few weeks. As the Brew Cabin Irregulars know, I have a few problems with my health, and without boring you all to death with the detail, I'm probably not quite as well as I realised and it's taken a severe talking to from one of my doctors to make me realise that my lifestyle is not doing me any favours, even though it is a vast improvement on how it was back in my contracting days - at least I no longer work 16 hour days and live off bacon butties and cigarettes.

The "truth" regarding my current state of health, combined with a new, particularly nasty medication designed to combat my ballooning weight and diabetes, caused me to lay off for a couple of weeks while I re-assessed what's of most importance to me and my family. After a few days of being fairly miserable and scared witless with angina, I came to the conclusionthat I might as well carry on doing as much of what I enjoy while I can. If I'm busy running the site and answering emails and coming up with specs, I'll have less time to think about the bloody miniscule portions I'm now being told constitute a meal for a fully grown man. :(

Hi Tony - last posted (& got tons of help for my back garden patio / paving plans) about a year & half ago. Sorry to hear of your health problems - but good to see you're back "online" & the site looks better than ever! Take care..
