Dear members,
I'm looking at adding a patio area to garden which would be the main access to the garden from our new extension and I need some help on what the building regulations are or whats the correct way of going about this.
The extension doesn't have any air bricks going out towards the garden these went our side ways so these wouldn't be covered, my main concern was if the patio was build directly against the outer wall would these cause any damp or be against building regulations?, i could alternatively build a retaining wall against the outer wall with oak sleepers but again does this go against building regs or cause damp? if they do both what could i do to help stop the damp issue?
Thank you for you help in anticipation.
Daniel
