White 'bloom' on washed concrete terrace - Advice please on how to remove.

Setts and cobbles, tarmac, asphalt, resin systems, concrete whether it's plain, patterned or stencilled, gravels, etc.

Hello :)
We've just laid a 250m2 terrace, ready-mix containing white cement, yellow sand and (sharp) aggregate.
Had lots of detailed advice from RM Company and followed it insofar as possible. (SW France, working in temperatures of 28-32C)
The finish is acceptable and have pressure washed the whole area three times, but as soon as it dries a chalky white bloom re-appears. I suspect this is 'desactivant' residue....sorry, don't know the English word....the product used to soften the top layer ready for aggregate exposure.
We were advised to pass a flamethrower over the terrace after cleaning, to melt the protruding polyester fibres.
So (finally :;): ) two questions.....Is there anything more we can do to remove the white residue and am I right in thinking that we'll seal it in irrevocably if we melt the fibres?
Many thanks for any advice!

Google back into anglais -
"Welcome to our humble home brew !"

Excellent - I've always wondered what weird smelling old barrel was, in the corner...?

Whatever happened to the home brew thing - just having bit of a clear out and found all our old kit - 3 crates of those lovely brown quart bottles, with the built in stopper type thingy, plus plastic tub, loadsa filters etc - don't hear of anybody doing it these days..? I think I've just answered my own question... ???

My Dad & OH used to have an ongoing competition to see who could produce the most mind-blowing lager. Wicked stuff it was.....I used to put it round the garden in little dishes to entice slugs and snails to a blissful death
Never did fancy drinking it after seeing what it did to them :D
Good news, fellas, the efflorescence is wearing off a bit already! We're dousing the concrete with water everyday while it cures, but how long do we keep it up for, please?

you dont need to douse it,just keep it damp for a week or so if its very hot, which i guess it is in france
an old way we used to do it with lime mortar was to cover the area with hessian then soak the hessian with water
as the water evaporates it keeps the surface cooler

Or straw, get a few bales spread it out few inches deep and keep them moist.
