It's one of those ones with just x2 horizontal beams. Cattle fence? Dunno.

Anyway, I'm guessing you wouldn't/ shouldn't postcrete these in or am I wrong?

Post and rail, usually just bang the posts into the ground.

What sort of depth. 2ft sufficient? I'm guessing I can buy posts that are, dunno what the word is.. pointed?

If I come to an obstruction, presumably auger as tight as poss hole and back fill with a little postcrete?
