I bought approx. three pallets of new quoins from a local supplier for a garage I was planning. Because of events I wasn't able to start the job but hope to get it going in the new year. The quoins are now covered in moss/lichen and generally look messy.

How do I clean them before giving them to the bricky?

I haven't bought the bricks it is just the corner posts and they should be a very light yellow.
It is not natural stone, some sort of cast.

Regards,
Colin.

rogers jollop ®

sodium hypochloride 1 litre

water 4 litres

baby shampoo a dash around 100ml

mix this up using suitable PPE

then apply and allow a 20 minute dwell time

wash off with clean water

be aware that this can bleach and kill plants and organisms

cheers LLL

Thank you for the reply.

I have been away for a week.

I'll give it a go but have to wait for the Xamas holidays when I'm off.

Regards,
Colin.
