Raised stone pation - Looking to build raised patio attached t

Hi,

New to this but practical with a bit of common sense. Looking to build raised stone patio to about 18" (where door from house will provide access) and then another 18" for small wall. Tried number of sites but key for me is gap between house and patio plus what I need to do to add damp course.

Then given it is 2.5 meter by 5.1 meter any sites with good instructions on how to ensure straight and done right.

Not daft, but want to ensure right thing. Or do I get a builder in... :p
