Could anyone help a new member of this brilliant site !

I am a stonemason based in Norh Wales and have been asked to tender for the construction of stone information plinths at various seaside locations which experience the full effects of weather and sea action.
The essentials of the construction are no problem exept for the 'cast in-situ concrete coping with exposed aggregate finnish'.
Any ideas on how to achive this exposed aggregate finnish?

There's some basic info on the technique on the Exposed Aggregate Concretes page, but the actual shape of the coping will determine which will be the best method.

Have you considered Sandblasting as an alternative if the concrete has cured. Last Year we sandblasted around the top of the Llangollen Canal and Marina to expose the aggregate.
