I have got a problem with frost damaged bricks at my house. I have counted them up and there is about 150 in total. My neighbour had a similar problem but he had about 350 bricks. My neighbours paid a company about £3500 to come down and paint some kind of resin over the bricks to make them good.

It seems like a lot of money and wondered if anyone had any solutions to offer?

I was considering drilling them out but I was worried about how many other bricks I will loosen in the process

Any advice would be greatly appreciated

be a helluva job to drill them out and as it looks like a 9 inch wall you would lose your plasterwork
the repointing with a strong mortar has exacerbated the situation, the mortar is stronger than the bricks so moisture has to evaporate through the brick and you get spalling....
TBH it doesnt look that bad
if push comes to shove cut out the worst bricks and replace

Isn't there some outlandish method where they scabble the spalled/perished brick faces and then epoxy-bond a new slip over the top (face)?

Personally, I'd put up with a few spalled bricks - it adds character to a wall.

There is Tony, my neighbour had it done and it cost him £3500. Also it was a nightmare for him trying to find anyone to do it because all the companies who offer this service are used to doing big commercials and weren't interested in doing a "little residential job"

Welcome back by the way

I put up with a lot of spalled bricks for 3,500 quid!
