Anyone remember these.
Marley's clay paving.
Shame when Tarmac (Toppave) acquired Marley paving that they didn't continue the manufacture of these beautiful clay blocks.
Buggers to cut though from what I remember.

Yeah it was done about 15 years ago and I'm guessing the customer gives it an occasional wash, but these clays in my opinion are superior to any others I have come across.
The Marleys were also quite regular in shape and size and just had a beautiful sheen to them which still lasts 15 years on, will get another piccy with a tidy camera.

I hated laying them though cos they would ruin any disc available back then.

Marley's didn't manufacture their own clays: they bought in, and I think those in the photie came from Baggeridge which is now Wienerberger.

You can't beat well-laid clay pavers. They really are a thing of beauty.

I guess they could have been manufactured elsewhere and re-branded, bit like Marshalls with Blockleys.

I don't know how many types of clay blocks Baggeridge previously made but the ones I've come across are like EU rejected bananas, both on the horizontal and vertical. Bloody horrible things and with no chamfer chipped like buggery.

I shall take a look at Weinberger and see if they make anything similar.
